Guinea Pig Cages
Appropriate Cages for Guinea Pigs
Each guinea pig should have at least 3.5 sq ft of living area if you have more than one. One guinea pig should have a minimum of 4sqft. However, if you have room, bigger cages are even better. See below for the nicest readymade cages available.

Weber's Pet Supermarket has two different brands of cages that are super. One is the Hagen Critter Den and the others are made by Marchioro of Italy.

Hagen Critter Den
This cage measures 39 X 21. It is beautifully made. The top clips off for easy cleaning. It is a top-open only cage. It comes with a built-in hay rack at one end. This cage is suitable for one or two guinea pigs.
This cage sells for $89 plus tax at Weber's Pet Supermarket.
Marchioro Cages
The medium and large cages are the best ones for guinea pigs, although the smallest one isn't so bad, either, for one piggy who gets out of the cage a lot.
The small cage measures 32 X 20 X 17 (high). The medium cage (good for 2) is 39 X 21 X 18 (high). The largest cage is 46 X 23 X 20 (high), and good enough for 2 or 3 piggies!!!
These cages are a snap for maintenance as well. They have handles for carrying, a top opening as well as front door opening (the largest one has 2 doors), and a hay rack that is attached on the outside. Please note that the hay racks shown are no longer the rack provided.
My personal favorite is the biggest cage possible!!!
